Drinking party hosted by school?

I read in the paper of a 14 year old graduation from the junior grade party where ADULTS ( some not even related) were invited to attend. Drinks were served to these "adults" right alongside 14 yo girls and boys who were ALSO allowed to drink.
In some cases the kids got drunk along with adults ,and security NOR any of the adults did a thing to try and stop it. This was hosted by the school BTW not a private "family" party. Thus many folks there were "strangers" to the kids. Whats YOUR opinion of this?

Unacceptable... Considering its agianst the law here, Rules are made for a reason .. Crazy I say..

well my opinion on alcohol is different...that was wrong bc its against the law but if we had the same laws as other countries then we wouldnt have the same alcohol problems we have today...sure at first theyd be happy to drunk but then think about it...after awhile the craze would die...whenpeople turn 21 they no longer wanna drink or if they do they do it controlled...other countries dont have the abuse we have just bc we say people shouldnt do it...if they got used to being able to drink it would be different *theres my 2 cents worth*
