well England is fine jst not hot int summer an is jst slow . but jst were i live it'll cost ya an arm an leg 2 jst to get off teh island .

Ok well heres the story...lol

My GF at the time wasn't exactly having a good relationship with her family and they forbid her to see me at x-mas. We lived a state away and saw each other little enough as at were, so she was very upset. The best we could manage was for her to sneak out for a few hours and meet me at a hotel so we could at least exchange gifts
I told her I would get there first, rent the room and call her cell to tell her the room number. She would have a friend cover for her at her band practice ( she was a high school band drum instructor) and come see me.
We figured to have 3 hours tops.
I got up VERY early that morning and did a little "shopping". I managed to get to the hotel about 11( 2 hours earlier than she could get there)
I then proceeded to decorate the ENTIRE room with x mas stuff..even a little tree:)
I called her after I was done saying I just got there and she headed out
when she got there I had all her presents wrapped, x mas music on the boom box, srtung the garland and lit the tree . I answered the door in a santa hat, pointed up to the mistletoe and said "merry x mas in november"
I recall her tearing up a bit and looking at me like I was totally crazy...but we did manage to have our x mas together in a sense so I was happy:)
well, there goes whats LEFT of my image right down the crapper! lol!

PS: you HAD to see the looks on the faces of hotel staff while I hauled in x mas tree and decorations lol

Awwwwwwww that is really one of the sweetest things I have ever heard. =P

Well I'm not sure I a hundred percent understand the question but I'll take a stab at it....I guess that things rarely work out the way we imagine so I've learned to be flexible and adapt easily. That way I don't get depressed about what "could have" or "should have" been.

Joey: Do you consider the people you meet online to be actual friends or just people you get on with well enough? (You don't have to answer that if you don't want to. I don't mean anything by it but I can't think of anything better and didn't feel like repeating my question for a third time)

Well since Cassie seldom comes here I'll take the liberty of answering it. I DO consider the "internet" friends I've made "real" friends...There is always the possibility that they DONT feel that way tho...or that they aren't what or who they say they are but thats th same in real life too I guess.
