some exciting news

In late july my first ever book of poems/lyrics will be published by pride publications:) its to be called " The Black diary" and will feature some lyrics along with texts on the songs, poems, short texts and verse...It will be available locally or on the Cellar dweller & Marcus Kane websites!
Here is an excerpt from it..its the lyrics to one of my songs prefaced by a short text...

"Step inside the realm of those who no longer walk with us...
pray for their souls....your soul...everyones soul...
when your time comes it will hardly even matter...
your life is wound so tightly around their fingers...
you may as well be dead already..."

In my world..echoes of your sins

TBH I get recognized more from wrestling than the band. I think maybe folks know me from the band but dont say anything. We have a lot of kids as fans in wrestling so they arent shy to come up and say hi lol

Heres another REALLY odd one that will be in the book...see if ya can figure out what it REALLY means:)

BOX OF SPIDERS

Caught some spiders crawling 'round
and put them in a box...
way down in the basement
where the door is sealed and locked
Thirty days and I still hear them
Crawling late at night..
Like the box of spiders in my head
some are still alive...they're still alive

Took a spider from the box
and crushed it on the floor
I buried it outside..
It cannot haunt me anymore
Started out with 13 spiders..
now I'm down to five..
Like the box of spiders in my brain
some will not survive..

I couldn't take the crawling of the spiders no more
I picked the whole box up and I walked thru the door
The crawling of the spiders seemed to drive me insane
so I sit the box of spiders on the window pane
I took the spiders from the box and I crushed them on the floor
now the spiders can't bother me anymore...
Box of spiders...box of spiders...
box of spiders..box of spiders...

That one is cool!
Must be really large spiders =P

Very DEEP song... and some spiders will always haunt us, no matter how much we run from them, we can kill them but not their painful remainders, now, can we?...
