Well since this IS the poetry section I think a few discussions like this should be in order. LoL :p
Which do you think makes for a better poem? Freeverse with no confinements or formed poetry with specific literary elements (intentional metaphor, rhythem, rhyme etc)?

For me It really depends on if I am doing trance writing, or what actually inspires me to write as to whether or not I use free verse or not. sometimes i just let the words come to me and then leave it be other times I have more structure to it.
