| I'm relatively wasted but obviously not so much so that I can't type...
Let's discuss:
Alcohol. Fave beverages and such.
Drunken shenanigans. Omg I think I actually spelled that correctly...
And the like. | |

| Well me, being an idiot, drank two bottles of merlot on an empty stomach.
Things were fine until I woke up at 5 am and needed to throw up. Um, and then when I woke again this morning, I went to get some water and fainted in the kitchen. I'm hypoglycemic so that happens to me sometimes when I don't have enough sugar.
Aaaaanyway,
I'm all better now, just a little headache, but wow, that was pretty awful. =P
I have way too many stories of "drunken shenanigans" for one post, but one that stands out a bit, is the time, about 2 years ago, I drank most of a bottle of 151 when I was in my boyfriend's dorm, and then ran out of his room at some point, into the hall, apparently doing pirouettes from my ballet days and singing, before passing out in his neighbor's room and waking up back in my boyfriend's room barely remembering a thing.
Wow I'm really going to get myself a great reputation on here haha =P
And as for preferences in alcohol, I like wine, preferably red, dry champagne, tequila, vodka, this German beer who's name escapes me at the moment, stuff like that. But I'll basically drink anything you put in front of me.
Although I have still cut back on my drinking a lot in the past year, since my tolerance seems to have gone out the window. Hmm idk what happened. =P

| wow lol quite a story..heres one not quite so fun... I was at a party several years ago...it had everyone from cheerleaders and jocks to bikers and musicians at it. I went one on one with a biker who thought he could out drink me. we took shots of jd one after another. He passed out and I drank for several more hours before doing the same. Upon waking I was in my bed..I peeked out my window and my car was in the driveway..so I called my friend to see who I owed the thanks to I was told that I got up..insisted on my keys..threatened two guys who tried to withold them and stormed out. Thus driving MYSELF home. I dont recall ever GETTING IN the car and certainly dont recall DRIVING it. That day I said my drinking is over..for good. I have stuck to it for YEARS now and have no intention of every returning to it. Since then the wrestling gig has me not even drinking SODA and obviously trying to keep in shape..and tho as a musician I see many people party..I have zero desire for it and prefer my vitamin water and a power bar to a drink and a smoke...there goes the image..i know lol | |

| Well that's lucky for you. I swear I think I have alcoholic tendencies. I do have a family history of that and drug abuse... Sucks.
But I try to be careful, sometimes I'm more succesful than others, though =P
And you are welcome :-) | |

| Haha that sounds like me up until about 6 months ago. I got pretty sick about that time and ever since then, I can't drink nearly as much as I used to without suffering the kind of consequences I did yesterday. Ugh it literally took me ALL DAY to get over my hangover. When I went to sleep at midnight, I was still feeling it. So no drinky drinky for a little while, and definitely not on an empty stomach. But it is weird that I could drink more at 15 than I can now... Kind of embarassing sometimes, actually. =P | |

| Haha you're problably right. Brilliant.
What you said about kidneys reminds me of one of my ex boyfriends. He told me that one day I'd wake up and my kidneys (or was it my liver?) would be lying next to me, crying. Weirdo. =P
This is off topic but I just saw The Hills Have eyes, the unrated version on DVD and omg that was some grossness... *shudders*

| Ugh... That's what my mom was telling me. She was like, oh Dina you could never handle the older horror movies. Haha she's probably right. But if I get an opportunity, I'll check it out. I just have to have somebody to hold on to when I get frightened!
Oh but really, I did think some of the parts in the new version were just a tad gratuitious, I guess since I saw the unrated version... I don't really like GORY horror movies. I like Hitchcock movies, how you really don't have to see anything but you're still freaked out. And how they're still plot and developed characters and all that good stuff.
But this version of Hills did a decent job scaring me because when I was coming home later that night, I heard rustling outside and had to run into the house. Granted my house is kind of scary at night. Kids don't even come there for Halloween. =P

| lol hey, since horror films are a passion of mine check out a movie called "high tension" or "blood ranch" they are pretty recent and GEEZ..a bit unsettling to say the very LEAST! I love the older horror films too tho..hitchcock, old dracula films, frankenstien ect. Vincent price movies rule..especially his movie adaptions of edgar alan poe stories:) | |

| I've never heard of Blood Ranch but I heard High Tension was pretty "unsettling" as you said. I'll check them out when I can find good people to watch them with. Cause in case you couldn't tell, I'm a little bit of a scaredy cat. =P
I agree with you about Vincent Price. He was awesome! I had a House of Usher inspired dream with a hoodoo twist, recently. Just thought I'd share.

| Haha it was kind of stupid. When I told my sister about this weird dream I had, she was like, you idiot, that sounds like the House of Usher mixed in with the Skeleton Key (I didn't see that movie, though). It was just basically this weird family that has incestuous undertones that live in Louisiana and are wealthy and have this beautiful house, the family has a history of madness and illness and these old nutso aunts practice voodoo. I hear a story of a woman in the family who had been buried alive, like the movie. The house sort of has it's own life and I guess is sort of, as I described it to my sister "evil". Oh and I'm a nanny in this house watching these two little girls. Their older brother, some guy in his 20's is a "bad guy". In this family there's always like, one person who has the most control. They gain control through the possession of this apple. I know, lame, but it's a dream! =P
Anyway, the little girls find this apple and are playing with it. It's this apple that never rots. And he's trying to get it from them, and then I realize he's "bad" and so we have this face-off and we're kickin each other's butts. Then I run for the apple, swallow it in one bite, and all of a sudden, I'm filled with all this power. So I kill him.
Then his spirit comes back and possesses his brother, causing his brother to try to kill his girlfriend because she didn't want him to eat a cow brain sandwich. So their other brother kills him in the kitchen with a knife. Then they take the dead brother's body away and that's the end.
Oh and one sort of weird detail is that those old crazy aunts, when somebody dies, they stab the balls of the foot with this long hook thing and basically jab it in and yank it out, making the foot bleed all over the place.
That's about all I remember. So the House of Usher parts of course, were the insanity, incestuous undertones, the woman being buring alive, the house, and the dark, sort of melodramatic tone of the whole dream. Oh and the fact that there aren't any only children could be part of it. And how the three brothers are kind of crazy, the two old aunts, etc. Cause I think in the movie it was supposed to be like, if there are more than one sibling, they both go nuts, right?

| wow..it does have elements of Skeleton key and house of Usher in it..some might say the apple represents the apple from the garden of eden..thus sin...a very interesting dream...I wish I could recall some of mine but I only seem to remember the ones with SHAKIRA in them LMFAO! | |

| Haha yeah, I thought the same thing about the apple. Temptation, like temptation for power, murder, whatever.
My dreams are extremely vivid, I have all five senses in them. So if I'm eating pizza, in my dream I can taste it. This actually kind of sucks because if I'm having an especially scary dream, it's VERY real to me. But then when I'm dreaming of some beautiful man (I don't usually dream about famous people), it's definitely in my favor. =P

| LOL at Shakira and the beautiful man comments. Regarding the dreams, I can relate to what you're saying Dina, I'm a bit like that, not all of my dreams are real, but most are and I have most of my senses in it too. When 'im drowning or so, I can't breathe and I wake up feeling bad. It's awful at times! | |

| Ugh, I know exactly what you're talking about! It really can be scary sometimes.
And I've always tried to explain that to people, how I have my senses in it, but not a single person I've talked to about it knows what I'm talking about.
So I guess you and and I are kindred spirts! Haha it's good to know I'm not alone :-)
