I've heard some call avril punk some call green day punk..so what is "punk" to you?

Honestly I don't know what Punk is because the media and everyone is always ohh this is what punk is or what punk isnt I'm still not sure myself what it is....

i think punk is when you decide to spray paint sumones car just to act like an idiot and impress sumone who thought they were stupider than you. but punk music? anything that sux....lol

When I saw that the Ramones was the first thing that came to mind. But Mia Zappata probably embodies punk best to me. A weird combo of emotion and movement that's different from headbanging metal or techno dance. I guess it's rawer.
