Who are some artists/bands/singers you absolutely think they should have kept there day jobs..

I LIKE Lou Reed, thank you very much. I can't stand James Blundt. His LYRICS are great but his VOICE drives me crazy, and not in that good way like Elvis back in the day. LOL.

James Blunt is cool because his last name is blunt. I like blunts. But his music sucks.

I really cant stand Dave matthews..I dunno why..I just find NOTHING he does interesting or ovely original

Maybe this one will actually be moderately talented? Or better yet, soooooo horrible that maybe they'll stop playing their songs on the radio every 5 minutes?

It's probably too much to hope for.

I actually have nothing against THEM, I just wish I weren't bombarded with their videos and songs constantly.

I just like the accent. Idk, plus my family's sort of anglophile since my grandmother's (who raised me) father was English. I even dated this guy who I otherwise wouldn't be that attracted to because he was from there and of course had the accent, and British boys are slim pickins in Hawaii.

Aaaaaaanyway, your country created some of the greatest (in my opinion) rock music of all time.

Led Zep, Beatles, the Stones, the Who, etc.

I know James Blunt doesn't fall into their category but I think there's something cute about him. =P

not too big on Blunt but yeah the who's singer roger daltry ( while not a huge fav of mine) has a GREAT voice no doubt!

Oh love him! I was lucky enough to see them in concert a couple years ago. We don't get many great bands playing here, so that was awesome. I swear, they're still as good as they were 30-40 years ago.

I'm a "classic rock" freak. I just grew up on it, can't help it. =P

the only "classic" rock guys I like are Alice cooper ( LOVE cooper) and the doors ( morrison was cool) but yeah anyone can see the who are uber talented..and I DO love "teenage wasteland"

Haha yeah, Jim Morrison was my first crush. My mom thought I was such a weird kid. She told me he was dead and I cried and cried. Uh... Yeah, maybe I WAS just a little strange. And I do agree that Alice Cooper is extremely talented. Oh, I listen to his radio show sometimes at night and he seems like a really great person too.

yeah cooper & glenn Danzig are my main influences really..some say I occasionally sound like morrison on our softer tunes but if so its not intentional.. wow you must have had a crush EARLY on old jim lol

Yeah I was really tiny. No older than 5, I think. My uncle was playing one of their albums and it had a big picture of him and my mom says I started singing about how I was going to marry him and stuff haha. I did sing things like that about other, random guys but like, I became pretty fascinated with him. And what girl wouldn't? I mean he was gorgeous and had such a sexy voice. So anyway, after a while my mom started to get creeped out and had to tell me that he died a long time before I was born so I couldn't marry him.

What a meanie. =P
